Hi all,

Anyone else interestedin canvas art here?

I get into the arts & craft mode and go a little crazy from time to time with canvas art.. I think i update my house at least once a month with new canvas art! Someone for every season.. I have some photos of ones I have previous made but thought id put it out there first to see if anyone is insanely addicted to it like me ? :love it:

I was planning on having some canvas art in our new house but MR thisisme isn't so keen on them. He says they are just dust collectors :(

Would love to see your creations :)

Ha ha thats what my partner says too.. But he knows the house is my domain so he just smiles and nods!

They arent the best canvas art, but i am quite happy with the way they turn out, im no picasso! :p

I originally started with a black and white theme and in the house now its more white with beige.. too many options out there to choose from i reckon!

Ok ill find my images on my work computer and post a few thats i have done - No laughing

Well done! They all look great.

I didn't realise you actually paint on them. I don't know why but I thought you just buy fabric and cover the canvas with it *shy* (this is what I am thinking of doing, not creative enough for the stuff you do :(

Very nice, Miss S. I particularly like the third picture.

Thanks, this is my most recent one I have done. I actually saw something similar at a gallary the other week for $3,500!! And i thought to myself, i can totally do this myself. And it cost me $18 to make including materials :thumbs up:

Very nice Miss S!

I am a bit of a crafty freak (time permitting) and I love making things. Although I mainly work with paper, I have dabled in a bit of canvas art involving paper! This is a little of what I have done:

Stormy, I love the ones with the childrens names on them. They look awesome.

No kids for me, but eventually when I do, this would be something id have in their room.

Very nice :thumbs up:

Love canvas art here Julie Ann!
I have some gold and black flocking I found at the tip..a whole roll. I think it is something I should never throw out. It will come in handy one day I am sure.

These are just something that I have started to like lately.

I have actually purchchased 2 from www.with2nsdesigns.com

1 is for the kitchen and the other is a shared gift for the girls room for Christmas.

I am also going to have a go at doing my own.

I want some more for my kitchen that are nice and bright and DD aged 15 has come up with a really cool idea for one so I will be doing that in the Christmas school holidays.
