Handbag Storage

Where do you hang or store your handbags?
I have 15 handbags that I keep on a shelf but they are all on top of each other & it's such a mess. I would like some ideas on how better to store them. Thanks,

wow thats a lot of bags!
do you use them all - maybe store some away and have the ones you use near by - i have 3 hooks behind my door where I store handbags
and I also have a flat section ontop of my dresses - i store a few handbags and folded jumpers there

I usually keep my handbags in my walk in wardrobe. At the moment they are all stashed inside the suitcase because our rental walk in wardrobe is so tiny. But when we move to our new place we will have a reasonably big walk in wardrobe with the full fitout. Behind the wardrobe door there will be 3 raws of shelves so I am planning to keep all my handbags in there and suitcases as well.

I once saw in Big W a pocket storage thing that you could keep your handbags in and hang up on back of door etc, was a long time ago . I would think Howards Storage would have some amazing thing that would solve all our handbag problems and leave us free to keep buying more!

I have 24 handbags and store them in the laundry cupboard as this is where we come in and out of the house. I will try to take a picture tomorrow but I have 2 shelves - 1 for the bags that can be stacked and 1 for the bags that need to be hung because they have longer arms. The hanging bags hang on a piece of conduit & springs at the top, like you use for hanging curtains. And then I used curtain hooks which I bent into an S shape that each bag hangs from.
1 lady on Facebook hangs hers from a coat stand, she has 70 bags - I thought 24 was a lot:eek:. I thought the coat stand was a great idea.

Thanks for all the great ideas. I am going to buy a hat stand & put that in my room. I think all the bags will look awesome.
