Just now I had to organise for Stegbar to come and fix my mirrored sliding door one day next week. The lady said so he will be there on Wednesday is that fine. Out of habit I started to answer yes but not when I am doing the morning and afternoon school run. Guess what after Friday I will no longer be doing the school run 5 days per week:clapping:. We will have the drive to and from exams but that's it. So after 13 years of taking Mr17 to and from school I will no longer have that daily commitment. I won't miss the rushing in the mornings and afternoons to be on time. But I will miss the chats, especially in the afternoons he is very chatty. But we have already talked about making time during the day to catch up now it won't be in the car.
Just had to share my big life change:)

:clapping::clapping::clapping: How wonderful and carefree you will now be JA!
Enjoy the new stage of watching your child become independent with work and Uni. Adulthood can be the most wonderful stage you have with a child.
My big life change like the one you are going through wont be for another 14 years as DS3 is only 4:D

The inevitable has happened Julie-Ann, your little boy has grown up :( I know how you feel, this year my baby boy started prep and my eldest son started an apprenticeship and bought a car  Huge changes for me in both situations, I have been at home raising my children for the past 18 years and all of a sudden I was home alone. I wasn't sad though, this is the next stage of my life and I am looking foward to having "me" time and building up my new business which you know about :thumbs up:
I'm sure you will enjoy this next stage in Mr17's life and you will see all your hardwork as a Mum pay off. Great that you have already spoken about making time to sit and chat. With us it's usually over dinner and texting does come in handy......

Thanks MrsB & TTD. I am viewing it all as positive too. Every stage is what you make of it. Not quite sure what I am going to do with all the extra time but I have a few ideas I need to look further into:)
Glad to hear the business is going well TTD:thumbs up:.

Thanks Julie-Ann :) I'm sure you will find a way to use your spare time. Don't forget to take time out for yourself too, coffee with friends, lunch or brunch. I've been going out for Breakfast once a month after school drop off with some friends. It is such a nice way to start the day :love it:
