Romantic French Cottage

Just wanted to say 'Hi!' to J-A & all the friends who might remember me, and 'Welcome!' to all the new members I'd like to get to know. I haven't been on the Forum for a while because of pressing matters on the homefront, and am amazed at how it's grown.
I have a new computer and some of my Bookmarks had dropped off in the changeover of data, so I was really glad to see A-M on the Forum as I'd lost her link. Welcome A-M, I l-u-r-v your blog!
I have a little incident I'd like to share with you all. I make my own bread and after it's baked, it needs to rest for about half an hour. I have a rather pretty throwover made of a lovely white sheer fabric and edged with white lace, that I cover the bread with. DH always remarks that it looks like the bread is getting married.
One day the freshly-baked bread was sitting on the glass stove top with its throwover in place, & DH tenderly raised the throwover, folded it back and said: 'You may now kiss the bread.' :love it:
It's a laugh a minute in my house.
