I thought I would post some of the abbreviations that are commonly used in Internet Forums and that members of our forum also tend to use.

ASAP - As Soon As Possible
AFAIK - As Far As I Know
AFAIU - As Far As I Understand
BOL - Best Of Luck
BTW - By the way
BWL - Bursting With Laughter
DH, DS, DD, DF, DB - Dear Husband, Dear Son, Dear Daughter, Dear Fiance, Dear Boyfriend
DGS / DGD - Dear Grandson / Dear Granddaughter
DIY - Do It Yourself
DIM - Do It Myself
DK - Don't Know
ETA - Edited To Add
FH - Future Husband
FWIW - For What It's Worth
FYI - For Your Information
GR8 - Great
GMTA - Great Minds Think Alike
GL - Good Luck
HAND - Have A Nice Day

I wanted to add:

DSS - Dear Step-son
DSD - Dear Step-daughter


I do know some more but doubt that they will be used on here PMSL!!

Milena, TYVM 4 ur Abbrevns post. BTW, I have a friend who, FYI, believes that LOL=Lots of Love, & always signs off using that. I ROFLMHO every time. TBH, IYKWIM, IMHO we have 2 many abbrevns, & lots of people just get completely confused. I'd just like 2 say, this is completely TIC (Tongue In Cheek).;)
