Are you doing anything special for Father's Day? Or just taking it easy?:)
My DH received his new focaccia toaster so he is chomping at the bit to use it. Who am I to stop him from cooking for once:D:love it:.
Apart from that we are having a very quiet day as both of our fathers are doing the Grey Nomad Caravan thing.
What about you- any plans?

Went out for breakfast this morning with the family then to my parents to wish dad a happy father's day.
Came back home for lunch and will head off to inlaws (across the road:thumbs up:) for a bbq for dinner. :)

You live across the road to your inlaws Bubbles? I hope that is not similar to the TV show Everybody Loves Raymond.

No not at all. It is great as I get along with them. It is very handy if I run out of something, it saves me the trip to shops. Good for babysitting my 3 boys aswell.
In summer time we go there to swim. Will miss it when we move. We will be in the same suburb so only a couple of minutes drive.

That is gorgeous Bubbles. I can only hope when I have a DIL she feels the same way. How lovely for your hubby's parents:thumbs up:

Hope you all enjoyed dh focaccia's for lunch:)
We had a friend from interstate staying with us for the weekend. He is a huge AFL supporter and came here for his annual trip to the footy finals.
He took dh to the match last night and then this morning he took dh and the kids to McDonald's for breakfast for Father's day.
After that they came home and had a jam session on the piano and the guitar. I was impressed with their music and enjoyed listening to it.
The rest of the day was a relaxing family day with dh watching DVD's with the kids.
p.s. I like your new Forum layout:thumbs up:

Hope all the Dad's out there had a great day yesterday.
We had a lovely cooked brunch (Hubby our 4 kids and me) which took me a bit longer to cook that I thought it would but that was okay ;) We then headed down to Lorne which was just over 2 hours away by car. Weather was awful driving down, we went through alot of heavy rain belts. Thank goodness it didn't rain in Lorne, we walked along the beach, younger two kids went on the trampolines, we had ice cream cones and fish and chips for dinner. Got home around 8pm, kids showered and went straight to bed. Hubby sat down with his block of Toblerone and said he really enjoyed the day out

Your Father's Day sounded just perfect TTD- your hubby really deserved this day:). Lorne is such a pretty town. I just can't take the drive to it- way too many bends in the road for my delicate stomach:(.
