Elements

Hey guys, we have talked styles before and most of us have done the style quiz Julie-Ann has on the forum.
....I seemed to think of my style as a mix of classic asian with some modern elements. Recently the lovely Milena and Julie-Ann popped over to the new house for a coffee and both cam bearing gifts:o;) which was so lovely of them both. I got a lovely choc brownie apron for all my new baking in the new oven and a origami crane print.
On sunday I had some other friends drop over to check out the new home and 1 came with a gift and it was a Bonsai tree......I thought it truly amazing that 2 people from completley different areas of my life were able to read my taste so clearly when at times I struggle to truly identify it myself.
So these 2 gifts now have a special place complimenting each other and keeping each other company in my kitchen.

I wondered, seeing as I have now received 2 Japanese style pieces what they symbolise and why they came into my life (ok I do ****yze things a little)and this is what I found.
Cranes = Immortality
Bonsai Trees = a symbol of balance and harmony between nature and a man.
So I have found more time in my day and its going to be very peaceful;)
I hope you have a great day also.
